28. Will Gasparino, OF/1B, Harvard-Westlake (CA) – The fact he is the son of Los Angeles Dodgers scouting director Billy Gasparino will be mentioned just about anytime Will gets brought up, but his game stands on its own. He is 6’6” tall and barely 200 lbs. but has plus speed, a plus arm, and an accurate arm that will allow him to play in right field and really thrive there. He naturally has long levers and has plenty of swing and miss in his game currently, but that should calm down as he fills out and allow him to tap into his genuine raw power. Gasparino took some massive steps forward in the summer and looks to do so again come the spring with an always loaded Harvard-Westlake team.

Gasparino is a big, long, tall outfielder with athleticism well, well beyond his size. A plus runner with a plus arm in right field. he has exceptional body control considering his size and long levers. It's plus raw power at the plate, though his bat path can get long at times. Gasparino will continue to add weight and muscle. As he does, his swing will change and his eventual upside will become more clear. As it stands today, he's a projection bat with exciting athletic testing and body control.

  Nolan McLean RHP/OF Oklahoma State   2-27-23 - Opening Weekend  - Nolan McLean , RHP/OF, Oklahoma State– The power hitting prospect has shifted from third base to the right field this season where his arm strength/raw power/defense tools profile well. During the Showdown he showed much more plate discipline with six walks against just two strikeouts compared to a 37/107 ratio in 242 at-bats last season. He also blasted a three-run home run to center field to put the Pokes back in the Vandy game, cutting the score to 11-8. It was a loud shot, one that needed earplugs from my seat. McLean is also a power prospect on the mound with a fastball up to 96 and a plus slider. He strong-armed Missouri for two strikeouts in the ninth inning to earn the save in State’s 5-3 win on opening night.
